
Author Guidelines
A. General Requirements
The minimum standard requirements for manuscripts submitted to Journal of Art, Culture, and Learning (JACL) are as follows:
- Manuscripts must be written in Indonesia or English.
- The length of the submitted paper is at least six (6) pages and no more than twenty (20) pages. Editors will evaluate manuscripts that require more than 20 pages.
- Authors are required to use a reference management tool (such as Mendeley, Zotero, or EndNote) and apply the IEEE citation style.
- Manuscripts must be prepared using the JACL Template (available on the journal website).
B. Structure of the Manuscript
Authors are suggested to structure their manuscripts as follows:
- Title
- The title should clearly describe the research aims, method/model, and objective.
- Acronyms or abbreviations are not allowed.
- Abstract
- Maximum 250 words.
- No citations allowed.
- Must state the primary goal, research design, methodology, main outcomes, results, and conclusion.
- Keywords
- Provide 3–5 keywords that represent the main topics of the paper.
- Introduction
- Set the study in context by briefly reviewing relevant knowledge of the subject.
- Clearly state the objectives of the study.
- Method
- Provide a brief description of the methods or techniques used.
- The principles of the methods should not be described in detail if standard references are available.
- Results and Discussion
- Present findings clearly, supported by tables and/or figures where appropriate.
- Do not duplicate results in both tables and figures.
- Discuss the significance of the findings in relation to previous studies or theories.
- Conclusion
- Provide a concise summary of the findings.
- Highlight the significance and implications of the study.
- Acknowledgments (if applicable)
- Mention individuals or institutions that contributed significantly but do not meet authorship criteria.
- Acknowledgments should be limited to substantial assistance such as statistical help, essential equipment, or translation.
- References
- Minimum 20 references are required.
- At least 90% of the references must be from international journal papers.
- All references must follow IEEE Style.
